Well, Sacha and I have taken a long hiatus from adventuring together. Sacha is working in Yellowstone this summer and it has stirred up many old memories for me. I have been trying my best to deal with the loss of Bruce for good. We decided to set a date and go for a hike together into 7 Mile Hole. We developed a good way for me to ride in Sacha's backpack where I could still get good views without worrying about us being separated. It felt good to be out again. Sacha got eaten alive by mosquitoes, I luckily put on real bug repellent before we went out, none of that chemical free stuff she uses. Sacha said that sometimes on her tour she drives right past Bruce's last known whereabouts. We are even talking about going back there. I don't think we will find him, if he is alive I am sure he has moved. I will at least feel at peace though having a better understanding of what happened. We still have some logistics to work out, such as finding others to come with us and convincing Sacha to get better bug spray. Until that time we plan on doing more hikes in other areas of the park.
